A little more about me
As Collegiate Professor in the Writing Across the Curriculum program at University of Maryland Global Campus (formerly University of Maryland University College), I oversee the university's 100-level academic writing courses, general education courses that reach thousands of students each year. I am responsible for course design and maintenance, selecting open educational resources, supporting approximately 200 adjunct faculty members, and regular teaching.

My work is informed by my educational background in linguistics and e-learning, as well as ongoing involvement with professional organizations, including the College Reading and Learning Association and the Maryland Distance Learning Association.
I live in Maryland with my husband and two children, where I enjoy live music and spending time outdoors. Check out this clematis from my garden!
